1.Safety and Quality

Providing Products and Services that Meet Customer Needs

We identify customer needs and develop and provide products that are beneficial to society*.
*For example, earth-friendly products that conserve resources and help protect the environment and that are easy for everyone to use regardless of age, gender, or disability.

Providing Appropriate Information About Products and Services

We provide consumers and customers with appropriate information about products and services.

Ensuring Product and Service Safety

We produce and provide products and services that comply with safety laws and regulations established in each country and region.

Ensuring Product and Service Quality

We establish and operate a company-wide system to ensure quality.

Appropriate Response in the Event of a Product Accident or the Distribution of Nonconforming Products

In the event of such an incident, we have established a system for information disclosure, contacting relevant parties, product recalls, and implementing safety measures for suppliers.

2.Human Rights and Working Environment

Elimination of All Discrimination

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, religion, political beliefs, or social origin in any employment-related situation*.
*This includes application, hiring, promotion, wages, dismissal, retirement, job assignments, and discipline.

Respect for Human Rights

We do not tolerate workplace harassment on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, religion, political beliefs, or social origin.

Prohibition of Child Labor

We do not permit the employment of children under the legal working age in each country or region. We do not assign young workers under the age of 18 to hazardous work.

Prohibition of Forced Labor

We ensure that all labor is voluntary and that employees are free to leave their employment. We do not use forced labor.

No Use of Conflict Minerals and Other Materials*

We aim to avoid using raw materials that may cause social issues such as human rights violations, and we strive to understand the situation and take appropriate measures.
*Minerals used to fund armed groups in conflict areas (e.g., tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold, cobalt, etc.)

Fair Wages

We comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region regarding minimum wages, overtime, wage deductions, piecework, and other benefits.
When using outsourced workers, we request that outsourcing contractors also comply with the applicable laws and regulations of the country or region in which they operate.

Appropriate Working Hours Management

We comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region regarding the determination of employees’ working hours (including overtime), the granting of holidays and annual paid leave, and other matters, and strive to reduce long working hours through appropriate working hours management.

We comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region regarding the prevention of air, water, and soil pollution, and work to reduce the final disposal volume of waste and promote the efficient use of natural resources such as water, fossil fuels, and minerals.

We identify chemical substances that may have serious impacts on human health and the environment and manage them safely.

Emergency Preparedness

We establish basic policies and action guidelines for emergencies, review response procedures for various scenarios in advance, and clarify responsibilities and authority in the event of an emergency.

Emergency Response

In the event of an emergency, we maintain a clear reporting flow and a system for timely and appropriate communication of information. Based on this information, we establish a system for promptly considering and deciding on countermeasures and issuing instructions.

We comply with the competition laws of each country and region and do not engage in private monopolies, unreasonable restraints of trade (cartels, bid rigging, etc.), unfair trade practices, or abuse of a dominant bargaining position.

We make political donations and contributions in accordance with the laws and regulations of each country and region and strive to build transparent and fair relationships with political and administrative authorities.
